ART® Corporate Solutions makes Active Release Technique® available to workers

Avoiding situations that negatively impact your organization’s workers’ compensation costs or recordable injury rates is a universal goal for employers, regardless of the industry. Fortunately, there is an advanced form of therapy called Active Release Technique® (ART®) that can actually help your organization reduce its costs with regard to repetitive motion strains.

ART®, which is considered the gold standard in soft tissue treatment, is available from certified practitioners and recognized by OSHA and the U.S. Department of Labor as a wellness, prevention, or first aid measure. That means ART® treatments do not trigger a recordable work injury and may actually prevent them.

Dr. Matt Gallagher, co-owner of Active Chiropractic & Rehabilitation, SC, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is a member of the Elite Provider Network (EPN) of ART® specialists. He contracts with a wide range of employers through ART® Corporate Solutions Inc. to provide relief for workers suffering from issues such as carpal tunnel syndrome, low back pain, tendinitis, headaches, and more.

Active Release Technique® is different from traditional chiropractic care

Although Dr. Gallagher is a board-certified Doctor of Chiropractic, he uses a completely different skill set in delivering ART® treatments. He is one of the few practitioners in Wisconsin to hold Level 2 certification (the highest level available) in both upper and lower extremities, and will complete Level 2 full body certification early in 2020.

ART® also features hands-on care, but the non-popping nature of its more than 500 protocols appeals to more people that traditional chiropractic care. ART® is a more soothing option for repairing the scar tissue that often forms as a result of repetitive motion in muscles, tendons, nerves, ligaments and fascia.

Numbness and tingling in the hands and fingers are common symptoms treated with ART®. Most workers experience almost immediate improvement in their discomfort level after a single treatment, with the best results occurring after only a handful of treatments.

Contact Dr. Gallagher to discuss the benefits of offering ART® for your workforce or to request a quote.
